Be strong and let your heart take courage
All you whose hope is in the Lord!
Trade your weakness - for His Strength
Your hurts - for His healing stripes
Your death - for His Life
Forward walk in all newness
With a bounce in your step
And praise on your lips
Abounding in His joy, making you whole
His Peace, a cradle to your soul
No need to wallow in what has been
Or despair of what may be
Look only to Him Who's already looking back
Allow His consuming Love extinguish every fear
His gentle touch, wipe away each tear
Let your heart in confidence reign
So each step taken
Is sure as the solid Rock on which you stand
Look out not down with eyes that see
To love the other more than I, myself or me
When LIFE is imminent
And all you need to be victorious
Has been done, is finished, been made complete
Your old life destroyed, reduced to rubble
There is no place for pretense, toil or trouble
So again I say,
Be strong and let your heart take courage
All you whose hope is in the Lord!
Everything He is and all that He has done
Is so the Savior may bid you, "Come"
