Seeing the Face of our Lord

Just this morning I awoke with this idea of why we cannot look upon the Face of our Lord … it is because His Head is bowed in feverish prayer for those He has been given. For me, I think it is time to join with Him - this world is falling apart at the seams because of the sin our rebellion brought into it. There is no other logical expectation than for the end to come because of the consequence of that sin - and it ain’t goin’ to be pretty! As His bond-servant, He is calling His faithful into prayer so that strength can come to His own to endure to the end when He will gather us in His Arms and we will be finally able to look upon His Face and be with Him in Glory. Your name is on the list and will be uttered by the lips of your King.
